Juan will walk us through the Dallas Downtown Public Improvement District, how it is structured, what it funds, and how it shapes the experience of being in downtown Dallas. He will also share updates on Activate Main Street, a 39-day tactical urbanism pilot in partnership with Better Block. The project temporarily transforms downtown parking spaces into seating zones, walkable community hubs, and public art installations to improve pedestrian safety and street vitality throughout the summer.
