2026 Saturday Open Water Swims

The Playtri Open Water Club is the longest-running weekly open water program in the DFW Metroplex. Athletes from all over DFW and from a variety of local and national coaching programs join us every week throughout the season. Swims will only take place when reported water temperature is ABOVE 56 degrees F per the TX Parks & Wildlife measure. Swims every Saturday at 7:30 AM. Please arrive by 7:20 AM for a prompt start. Saturday OWS is free to current Playtri athletes. Non-Playtri athletes can pay $10 cash ONLY to drop-in. We offer two coached groups for skill work and longer swimming. There is a lifeguard and watercraft at every training session. Brightly colored swim cap mandatory. Wetsuits mandatory when water is below 60 degrees.
