With a private 6-foot table, electricity access, and the freedom to leave your work set up overnight, this two-day gathering is ideal for quilters, sewists, scrapbookers, and makers of all kinds looking to create alongside a friendly, judgment-free community. Join us for the next Dallas Crafters Marathon Crop and Craft Event, a fun, creative, in-person crafting weekend designed for makers who love to craft together! This two-day event runs Friday and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily, giving you plenty of uninterrupted time to work on your projects. You’re welcome to leave your projects set up overnight, so you can jump right back in the next day without packing up. Bring any craft project you love, as long as it fits on a 6-foot table. Electricity is available, making this event perfect for quilters, sewists, scrapbookers, stampers, jewelry makers, and more. Who are we? We’re simply a group of crafty people who enjoy creating together, sharing ideas, and inspiring one another. This is not a direct sales or teaching event—no sales pitches, just crafting and community. Who can attend? This event is open to adult crafters ages 15 and up, men and women welcome. Location: Hilton Garden Inn Dallas-Richardson 1001 President George Bush Turnpike Richardson, TX 75080 This new location is just 11 minutes southwest of our old venue with easy access from east bound President George Bush Turnpike between Waterview and Custer. The hotel offers a warm and welcoming space for our crafting community as well as a highly rated restaurant and a block of rooms for those who want to stay overnight — we’re excited to gather with all of you there! Attendance is limited to 54 participants, so be sure to reserve your spot early! Important notes: If you plan to paint or work on a potentially messy project, please check with us in advance and bring protective coverings such as tarps or shower curtain liners to protect tables and carpet. Come craft, connect, and create with us all weekend long—we can’t wait to see what you’re working on! Admission: Advance registration is strongly encouraged, as seating is limited. Only full-event passes covering both Friday and Saturday are available for advance purchase; Friday-only and Saturday-only tickets are no longer being offered online. If space remains available, single-day admission may be purchased at the door on either day of the event. Door admission is not guaranteed and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis after all pre-registered attendees have been accommodated. Purchasing a full-event pass in advance is the best way to ensure your place at the event. Hotel Accommodations: A block of hotel rooms has been reserved for event participants at a special group rate. The discounted rate is $90 per night for a king room or $99 per night for a room with two queen beds on Friday and/or Saturday nights, with the option to add Thursday night as well. To receive the group rate, guests should call the hotel directly (1-800-774-1500) and mention the they are with Dallas Crafters Marathon when making their reservation. The special rate does not include complimentary breakfast. We recommend booking early, as the room block is available on a first-come, first-served basis and may sell out before the reservation deadline.
