Downtown McKinney's 4th of July Hometown Parade and Block Party
Downtown McKinney | 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Celebrate Independence Day the hometown way in Downtown McKinney. Red, White and BOOM! kicks off with a classic small-town parade filled with patriotic spirit, local organizations, festive floats, and community favorites making their way through the heart of downtown.
After the parade, stick around for the Yankee Doodle Block Party, where the celebration continues from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enjoy live music, family-friendly activities, and plenty of ways to keep the kids engaged while you explore downtown’s shops and restaurants.
This year’s celebration marks America’s 250th birthday, making it the perfect time to gather with friends, bring the family, and enjoy a full day of community, music, and hometown pride.
The celebration continues that evening at Towne Lake Park, with a live concert and fireworks show from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. For full event details, visit the City’s website.
