National Tree Day 2026 – Community Planting Day

Join Up2Us Landcare Alliance and project partners for a community tree planting day at Paxtons Reserve, Mansfield as part of National Tree Day 2026. Over the past six months, Up2Us Landcare Alliance, Mansfield Shire Council, DEECA, Goulburn Broken CMA and the Department of Transport and Planning have been working together to transform this small reserve. Through weed control, the removal of gravel stockpiles and site improvements, the project is creating a welcoming community space and an important pocket of habitat for local wildlife. Now it's time to put the finishing touch on the project by planting around 500 indigenous trees, shrubs and grasses. Whether you're a seasoned Landcare volunteer or simply looking for a great way to spend a few hours outdoors, we'd love your help.
