9 BALL RULE HIGHLIGHTS
• Lag or Flip for 1st break choice, winner break after that
• Rack Your Own
• 9 ball does not count in the racking corners on the break
• Pattern racking is not allowed
• 9 ball is racked on the spot
• Push out on the shot immediately after the break is allowed
• Jumping allowed
• Any ball off the table is a foul
• 3 consecutive fouls is a loss of game (opponent must announce when you are on 2)
• 9 ball pocketed on any legal shot, except the break wins the game
• Slow play is not allowed – there is a 45 second informal shot clock; if a player complains about slow play it will be enforced for both players during their match.
o Shot Clock enforcement guidelines- There can be one 45 second extension per game- Each violation results with ball in hand for the opponent.- 3 violations in the same game is a loss of game
