2nd Saturday Bird Walk

Join us for a guided morning bird walk at LLELA with an experienced birder on Saturday, June 13 at 7:30 a.m. Whether you're picking up binoculars for the first time or you're a seasoned birder, this program offers a great opportunity to explore some of LLELA's best birding locations while learning tips for spotting and identifying local birds. Participants must be age 10 or older. Registration is required. The program fee is $5 per person, plus LLELA's $5 per vehicle entrance fee. Program registration is paid in advance, and the entrance fee is collected upon arrival at the Gatehouse (debit or credit card only). If you need to cancel, we kindly request at least 24 hours' notice. Before you arrive, please dress for the weather and primitive trail conditions. Closed-toe shoes are required, and long pants are always recommended. Be sure to bring a full, refillable water bottle, as summer temperatures can rise quickly. We also ask that visitors respect wildlife and native habitats by following Leave No Trace principles. Please note that outdoor programs may take place in areas without running water, so be prepared to use clean portable restrooms if needed.
