Local bakers and book lovers will transform their favorite Halloween tales and spooky stories into one-of-a-kind edible masterpieces, with public viewing and judging from 5-6 PM followed by awards. Whether you're entering your own creation or just stopping by to admire your neighbors' handiwork, this Halloween-spirited mashup of literature and dessert is a delightfully unique way to spend a Thursday evening.

Get into the Halloween spirit with the NRH Library's Edible Book Contest! Choose your favorite Halloween book or spooky story and bring it to life as a creative dessert. You can also join in the fun by stopping by to check out your neighbors' unique creations. To participate in the Edible Book Contest, please visit the library's information desk on the 2nd floor to pick up and complete an entry form. 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. Public viewing and judging 6:00 - 6:30 p.m. Awarding of certificates and prizes.
