About DFW Pulse: Free Events and Things To Do Across DFW

One place for DFW events

Finding out what is happening in Dallas-Fort Worth used to mean checking a dozen venue websites, Facebook groups, neighborhood apps, and local calendars — and still missing half of it. DFW Pulse brings it all into one free, regularly updated guide organized by city, category, and date, so you can stop searching and start going.

Browse by what is on this weekend, filter by neighborhood or event type, or just explore. You can also explore articles about neighborhoods, attractions, restaurants, outdoor activities, and weekend ideas around the Metroplex.

Built for the whole Metroplex

DFW is not one city. It is a region of more than 30 distinct cities, each with its own event scene. DFW Pulse covers them all:

More than major events

DFW Pulse covers the full range — not just stadium shows and sold-out festivals, but the neighborhood bar's open mic, the Saturday farmers market, the free outdoor concert, the gallery opening, the food truck rally, and the trivia night. If it is happening in DFW and worth knowing about, we want it listed.

Smaller and recurring events are especially important. A weekly live music night at a local venue, a monthly pop-up market, or a seasonal community gathering often goes undiscovered because no one aggregated it. DFW Pulse exists to fix that.

Find events your way

DFW Pulse is designed for simple discovery. You do not need to know an event's name before you begin.

Use DFW Pulse to:

Our goal is to make local discovery fast, useful, and enjoyable, whether you are a longtime resident, new to the area, or visiting DFW for the weekend.

Free, fast, and ad-free

DFW Pulse is completely free. No subscription fees, no paywalls, no account required to browse, search, and filter events. The experience is built to be fast on mobile and desktop, so you can find what you are looking for without friction.

We do not run banner ads or mix sponsored content into event listings. Event discovery works best when listings are earned, not paid for, and when the interface keeps your attention on what is actually happening.

For local organizers

DFW Pulse is community-powered. If you organize events in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, you can submit them for free. Our team reviews submissions for quality and accuracy before they go live, typically within one business day.

Featured events receive prominent placement at the top of listings. If you host recurring events — a weekly trivia night, a monthly market, or a seasonal festival — you can submit them once and they will appear on the relevant pages.
