Grab a free monthly dose of creativity at the Mesquite Arts Center, where this month's Tote-and-Go kit features six festive projects — from a paper gingerbread house to a holiday canvas painting — perfect for sparking seasonal fun at home. Swing by Northridge Estates between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on November 2nd, but act fast: kits are one per family and spots are limited, with a waitlist kicking in once capacity is reached.

Tote-and-Go has changed to a monthly program. On the first Monday of each month, staff will distribute art kits that include a variety of creative projects. Any kits remaining after Wednesday, Nov 4, will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Availability will be determined by the waitlist, which opens on Thursday, Nov 5. As of July 6, 2025, there are 50 spots available. Register early before capacity is reached. Pick-Up Details: Location: Mesquite Arts Center Date: Monday, November 2, 2026 Time: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Waitlist Communication: Thursday, November 5 – Friday, November 6. All Kits Will Be the Same and Include: -Patriotic flower wand -Christmas house -Paper gingerbread -Chinese New Year -Holiday Canvas Painting -Christmas cup craft. Please note: We will no longer customize art kits. One kit per family. Registration Information: Registration opens: July 6, 2025. Once the program reaches capacity, only the waitlist will be available for sign-up.
