Let the Allen Philharmonic Chorus guide you on a musical journey exploring home, belonging, and connection this fall. Hear moving choral works from composers like Aaron Copland, Elaine Hagenberg, and Dan Forrest, woven together into an evening celebrating community and the shared paths that lead us home. Gather at this Allen venue on Sunday, October 25, for a heartfelt program sure to resonate long after the final note.
From the organizer
The Allen Philharmonic Chorus invites you to join us for Journey Home, a concert exploring the meaning of home, the journey of life, and our connections with one another. Featuring music by Aaron Copland, Elaine Hagenberg, Dan Forrest, Patrick Vu, and more, this program brings together folk songs celebrating home and expressive new choral works reflecting on life's joys, challenges, and responsibilities. The program reflects on how home can be both a place of belonging and a sense of connection we find through our relationships with others. Join us for an evening of music celebrating community, compassion, and the shared journey that brings us home. This concert is a chorus only concert and will not include the orchestra. Admission is free, but we will conduct a free-will offering you can contribute to if you love the performance!
