The Garland Animal Shelter is proud to partner with the ASPCA for The Rescue Effect, a nationwide campaign that celebrates the incredible impact adoption has on shelter animals everywhere! So, what is The Rescue Effect? It's simple! When one pet is adopted, it creates space, time, and resources for another animal in need! One adoption becomes a ripple effect that helps countless other pets receive shelter, medical care, enrichment, and the opportunity to find loving homes of their own! When you help one, you help many! That's why we're excited to offer FREE ADOPTIONS during select weekends throughout the campaign! FREE Adoption Weekends! October 3 & 4 October 10 & 11 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM Whether you've been looking for a playful puppy, a loyal adventure buddy, a cuddly kitten, or a laid-back companion, we'll have amazing dogs and cats waiting to meet you! Every pet has their own unique personality, but they all share one dream... finding a family to call their own! Every adoption includes: Spay or neuter surgery! Age-appropriate vaccinations! Microchip! Preventatives! An adoption folder filled with helpful information and goodies to help your new best friend settle into their forever home!
