Get ready for a summer packed with building, coding, engineering, and hands-on STEAM adventures — Snapology summer camps are coming to Colleyville Recreation Center! Whether your child loves robotics, creative building, animals, or figuring out how things work, we have a camp designed to spark their curiosity and keep them engaged all summer long. Every week is a brand-new theme, led by trained Snapology instructors in a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment. With options for our youngest builders (ages 4–7) AND our older engineers and problem-solvers (ages 6–12), the whole family can get in on the fun! 2026 CAMP SCHEDULE: Mega Machines Robotics | June 1-5 | 9:00 AM–12:00 PM | Ages 6–12 Big builds and big ideas! Students explore motors, sensors, gears, and programming while building powerful robotic machines like garbage trucks, space rovers, and helicopters. Mining & Building | June 1-5 | 1:00–4:00 PM | Ages 6–12 From the world of Minecraft™ to real-world LEGO® engineering — students apply their favorite game's concepts to hands-on building challenges that spark creativity and critical thinking. Kinderbots Robotics | June 22-26 | 9:00 AM–12:00 PM | Ages 4–7 Perfect for young innovators! Little builders explore simple machines, gears, motors, and beginner programming while constructing drills, helicopters, robotic dogs, and more — all in a fun, collaborative setting. RoboPets Robotics | July 6-10 | 1:00–4:00 PM | Ages 4–7 Animal lovers will go wild for this one! Students build robotic animal companions using LEGO® bricks while exploring habitats, biology, and the basics of engineering and programming through stories, games, and hands-on creativity. Creature Creator Robotics | July 27 | 9:00 AM–12:00 PM | Ages 6–12 Students design and program moving creatures inspired by real animals, using motors, sensors, and LEGO® bricks to explore mechanical engineering and coding — one wild robotic build at a time. Mechanical Masterminds | July 27 | 1:00–4:00 PM | Ages 6–12 Gears, levers, cranks, and pulleys — oh my! Young engineers explore how mechanical movement works by designing and testing machines while sharpening problem-solving, teamwork, and engineering design skills.
