Selected as a featured ensemble for the 79th Annual Texas Bandmasters Association Conference, the Carrollton Wind Symphony presents Beyond the Horizon; a program of reflection, legacy, & forward momentum. Honoring tradition while embracing innovation, the concert includes a tribute to former conductor Jim McDaniel, the premiere of new works, & music ranging from the serene beauty of Gjeilo/Wilson to the vibrant energy of Standridge, culminating in powerful symphonic works by Giannini & Shostakovich.
