Art Show
There's something different about light underwater — the way it bends, scatters, and wraps around a moving body. Fabric drifts instead of falling. Movement slows. Gravity, for a moment, lets go. We're excited to once again work alongside underwater photo-creative Cai Chen — an artist whose work in this medium has a way of turning a swimming pool into something otherworldly, for another special underwater fashion photography event! Specially talented models will be styled, wardrobed, and posed beneath the surface, and you'll be right there with them — working from the shallow end, camera in hand, capturing movement and light in a way you've likely never photographed before. This one's for anyone with a camera and a curiosity for something different — whether you're just getting comfortable behind the lens or you're a seasoned pro looking for a new kind of challenge. You'll need your own camera paired with a compatible underwater housing (we've linked a solid option below), and the Aledo Aperture team is always on hand for anyone who wants guidance on settings along the way. The Details: When: Sunday, August 9th Where: Revealed to registered participants ahead of the event Experience Level: Basic knowledge of camera: You got this! Gear Needed: Your own camera + underwater housing (link below) Cost: $150 As always, it's not just about the photographs — it's about the experience, the people, and the strange, beautiful things that happen when art and water meet. Spots are limited. We'd love to have you in the water with us. SPACE IS LIMITED: PLEASE EMAIL [email protected] TO RSVP Links for suggested underwater cases for your camera will be emailed.
