Preparation with Purpose: Caregiver "Soul Supply" Back-to-School Session
The transition back to school can be a whirlwind of schedules, paperwork, and stress especially for caregivers. This July, Jacob Way Care Connect invites you to take a breath and prepare with purpose.
This is a free, special back-to-school peer support session designed entirely around your well-being. We want to help you move into the new school year feeling empowered, organized, and deeply supported. Special Perks: Every registered parent and caregiver will receive a complimentary "Soul Supply" Wellness Gift Bag packed with tools to support your mental health and resilience this season! Light Refreshments and Snacks!!
What We’ll Cover:
- The "First Week" Blueprint Activity: We will use our new journals to map out an Emotional Schedule for the first week of school. Learn how to intentionally protect 15 minutes of quiet time for yourself when the chaos hits.
- Advocating for Your Child (and Yourself): Gain expert tips on how to effectively communicate your family's unique needs to new teachers, set boundaries, and start the school year on a positive note.
- Safe Peer Support: Connect with a diverse, welcoming community of families who truly understand your journey.
